I build software, developer tools, and things I find interesting — most recently EnvShield, a schema-first way to manage environment configuration.

EnvShield

v4.7.0 · Published on PyPI

Environment variables, as a version-controlled configuration contract.

EnvShield turns .env files into a real, committed contract — env.schema.toml — so a project declares what it actually needs. Everything else follows from that one file: validating a local .env against it, discovering variables the code reads that the schema doesn't know about, and reviewing how the contract itself changes across git revisions. Secret scanning is a supporting check, not the product's center of gravity.

About

I'm a software engineer who cares most about developer tooling and schema-first systems — software that makes the next engineer's job clearer, not just working code. EnvShield grew out of that: environment configuration treated as a contract, not a guessing game.

Outside of client work, I run a small self-hosted homelab (Proxmox, TrueNAS, Docker, Nginx, Pi-hole, Nextcloud, Jellyfin) and founded Kriyonix, a small studio for web and AI-powered products.
